Ceru are artificial creatures, created by the fusion of alchemy and magic, and are found almost exclusively in the distant land of Vudra. There they are the playthings of the wealthy and powerful and are occasionally taken as familiars by spellcasters, who prize them as dispensers of luck, both good and ill.1
