Budugan was the first khan to rise to power among the Tian-La people of Hongal in the year -2884 AR. He was a towering figure who was rumored to be half-giant. In -2879 AR, he was slain by treacherous kinsfolk, fracturing the Tian-La back into dozens of smaller tribes.1
