Blackwood (wood)

From PathfinderWiki
For another meaning of "Blackwood (wood)", please see Blackwood.

Blackwood is a light and tough wood. Because of this strength and the fact that it is naturally resistant to water, blackwood has become a valuable building material for many trades,1 including shipbuilding.2

Origin

The primary harvest location for blackwood in the Inner Sea region is in the Verduran Forest. It is guarded by druids that limit the logging of the trees based on the Treaty of the Wildwood signed hundreds of years ago.1
