Bitter Brotherhood

The Bitter Brotherhood is a gang of bandits who plague the trade routes from Lod and Dammartorp to Hoarwood, in Irrisen. Laszlo and Ludvak—the two sons of Countess Natalka Aelena; she is the ruler of Ludovny, a small town north of the Hoarwood Forest—pull the strings of the Bitter Brotherhood. Countess Natalka uses any means necessary to preserve Ludovny's lucrative trade status, as the main supplier of Hoarwood's provincial capital.
