Auriloch is a member of the Umbral Court trapped within the Winter Court, his country retreat, for the crime of summoning the mnemor devil Lethidim to alter his painful memories when suffering became unbearable—one of the worst heresies for Kuthites. His domain encompasses several neighbouring farms and is surrounded by a disorienting fog, within which his test subjects wander, re-enacting the horrors they suffered and sometimes inflicting them on passers-by.[1]
