Aghash

From PathfinderWiki
Aghash
(Creature)

Aghashes are a div species whose obsessive hatred concerns beautiful mortals.[1]

Appearance

An aghash is a filthy hag-like creature draped in rags and hunched over on goat-like legs, giving its emaciated frame an obscene, jerking gait. Its face is featureless save for a large eye ringed by fangs. An aghash stands between five and six feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds.[1]

Abilities

Merely watching an aghash opens one to the curse of the evil eye which it embodies. It can deliver curses from a distance, leading some victims to believe they have been afflicted by a disease or cursed by the gods, all while the aghash delights in the suffering it has caused.[1]

Ecology

Aghashes wander deserts of the Material Plane spreading doom with their evil eyes. They hold nothing sacred, taking particular pleasure in bringing mortals, particularly spellcasters, to ruin.[1]

Aghashes have an obsessive compulsion to despise beautiful mortals and will always choose to attack the most physically attractive foe if given a choice. Such is its loathing that an aghash might stalk attractive foes, delighting in afflicting them with curses that undermine their charm.[1]
