The manasaputra Aeptolinu was one of the lesser-known patrons of Azlanti civilization during the Age of Legend, serving as a guide of numerous Azlanti colonies and encouraging their growth.1

Background

Aeptolinu was as blind as his charges to the manipulations and plans of Azlant's alghollthu masters and caught off-guard by the disaster of Earthfall. Seeing everything he had built destroyed in an instant overwhelmed Aeptolinu, who wandered in search of a new home for Azlanti survivors until he reached the ruined city of Neruzavin. The horrors he discovered there broke what was left of his faith, transforming him into a nihilistic broken soul. Aeptolinu still haunts the ruins of Neruzavin, and believes that all order and civilization is inevitably doomed to be consumed by entropy.1

Appearance

Aeptolinu's appearance reflects the broken state of his spirit. While he uses magic to appear as a malnourished Azlanti man, his true form has only empty pits for eyes and is covered in bleeding wounds that the tortured manu inflicted on himself.1
