Andoren sailors kill pirates acting as slavers. This begins the year known as the Year of Rent Sails, during which more than 600 slaves are freed from slavers,235 but slavers from Okeno consolidate, form the Okeno Slavers, and violently retaliate against Andoren ships, trade vessels, and pirates alike.6
