- The dwarven hero Khadon the Mighty finally defeats the orc inhabitants of the Five Kings Mountains at the Battle of Splitmist Pass after 82 years of conflict. Orc leader Tarkdok Manyspears is slain and his body displayed as a deterrent against any further orc incursions.[1][2]
