These fiery, child-sized devils are Hell's diabolical inventors, applying their intellects towards the greater glory of their realm and the destruction of all others.[1] Ukobach are thought by alchemists to know the secret of transmuting materials to gold using a substance known as berith, as noted in the Shagreen. The devils are seemingly helpful to alchemists and metallurgists who summon them, often bringing unasked-for gifts that inspire temptation or destruction.[1]
Habitat & Ecology
Most ukobach originate in the fiery canals of Dis or Phlegethon, and many work tending Moloch's ceremonail crematoriums in Citadel Ba'al or tinker with inventions in Phlegethon. They appreciate hot, flaming environments and gravitate to cities, delighting in pyromania.[1]
