The Way North

The Way North originally served the community of Sandpoint as a stable, though after being rebuilt following the Late Unpleasantness it was re-purposed by its owner. The building is now a library and shop containing a large and varied collection of maps and nautical charts, all under the care of Veznutt Parooh.

Appearance

Once no more than a stable, The Way North is a simple one-story building located at 140 Cliff Street in northern Sandpoint.

Services

A sizable quantity of the materials in The Way North are available for purchase, and Parooh often prepares copies of additional pieces for public sale. Prices range from novelty maps for as little as five silver pieces to regional surveys and rare pieces as expensive as 10 gold pieces.

Notable individuals

Parooh, an elderly gnome, is a friend of former adventurer Ilsoari Gandethus. He also offers spellcasting services from his shop.
