Proposed redesign

I'm looking for feedback for changing from collapsible groups to fixed groups, reorganizing the "other classes" into Base/Hybrid/Alternate, and incorporating "X by class" categories and iconics:

Thanks! --Oznogon (talk) 20:03, 1 September 2014 (UTC)

Gets my vote and some art would work in that white space to the right as a template image. --Fleanetha (talk) 21:48, 1 September 2014 (UTC)
Updated example to add an image (slideshow of core classes) and update with hlists. --Oznogon (talk) 21:41, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
Got too clever with the slider, I guess. Open to suggestions for an appropriate image. Maybe one of the GM screen images? --Oznogon (talk) 21:46, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
The moving images worked fine as far as I could see - great idea. --Fleanetha (talk) 18:06, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Personally, I prefer image-free navboxes, as I think they look cleaner and more professional. This one doesn't have collapsible groups so its height is constant and images can be selected accordingly to fill the space (though on narrow screens like phones that isn't really accurate). If I had to pick an image, I'd pick one iconic and just stick with that lone image instead of a slideshow. Just because we have the ability to use them doesn't mean we should use them everywhere. —Paizo Publishing, LLC.png Yoda8myhead (talk) 22:46, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
No arguments there. I was just trying to get ahead of the inevitable claims of favoritism and was too clever by half. (The images of the shorter iconics, especially Harsk and Lini, broke out of the navbox in the slideshow.) As it stands, I like it better without images; at this height (~148px on desktop) Lini and Harsk are the only iconics that'll look good. --Oznogon (talk) 23:39, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
