Talk:Languages of Golarion

From PathfinderWiki

Main Language Page

I think we might now be better served by a Language page as the main page in this area as we have so may types of language. 'Language' as a concept would also get its link we need. --Fleanetha (talk) 08:47, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

Layout [Completed]

The TOC on this page is huge. I'm wondering if there's a better way for us to lay this out or present the information (whether through the use of smaller pages for the individual languages or definitions lists) to make the page a little more navigable. Thoughts? -- Yoda8myhead 17:31, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I agree. The easiest thing would be separate each of the subsections into its own page and simply link to them from this page. So the "Languages of Golarion" page would stay and then link to the following pages: "Human Languages", "Dead Languages", "Nonhuman languages", and "Darklands languages". I think that's a better idea that giving each language its own page, as with many of them there really isn't much to say.
On a completely unrelated note, I have been able to get almost all of the Pathfinder publications as a pdf. Searching all of them at once for terms makes citing stuff super easy! Woohoo!--brandingopportunity 17:55, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
I think that is a good option. A short overview of each language group can stay on this page, with the link to the specific page beneath. How do you search multiple pdfs at once? I'm sure I know how, but I don't do it. -- Yoda8myhead 18:02, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
I agree, most of these entries have the three sentences needed to be their own page as well. I don't think the ToC should ever really be over a full screen. Cpt kirstov 21:30, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
To search multiple documents in Adobe Reader (I use version 9), use the Search function in the "Edit" menu. --brandingopportunity 21:31, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
