Nugrah the Decrepit was a druid living in the Stolen Lands region of the River Kingdoms who was the father of the man known as the Stag Lord. He raised his son alone after his wife—whom Nugrah had married against the laws of his druidic cabal—died in childbirth. He was banished from his order not for marrying, however, but for attempting to bring his dead wife back from the dead, an attempt that failed because she declined to return to her body in disgust. Blaming his son for his problems, Nugrah treated him as an animal, leaving him for dead a number of times, including once after dousing the boy in acid. When the boy grew into the powerful Stag Lord, however, he overtook his aging father, and now exerts the same torment upon his sire as was dealt to him in his youth.1
