Commandant Marcus Thalassinus Endrin was the leader of the Sable Company in the Varisian city of Korvosa.[1] He was killed with his own crossbow bolt by Queen Ileosa Arabasti when he attempted to assassinate her in public.[2] He was known as a dedicated man whose strict adherence of honor and tradition sometimes blinded him to what was best politically.[3]
