Kharane holds the title of Defender of Duwwor. As of 4723 AR, he has won every biannual election to the role of ruler of Duwwor, one of the five allied city-states of Thuvia, for the last 20 years.12

History

At some point before 4703 AR, Kharane was an renowned adventurer whose party defeated Ishix, a Water Lord lich who sought to assault the Citadel of the Alchemist.2
