Background creature

Looking at the original Spires of Xin-Shalast 66, it is the opener for the section 'Hazards on the World's Roof'. There is an encounter table in that section and the white dragon is the only plausible creature from that list. It would be a 3.5 version of a white dragon too note, not a Pathfinder, but either way it is not a good match.
