Crocell is an infernal duke who makes his home in a vast manor home surrounded by a vermin-infested bog on Hell's layer of Stygia. There he collects unique texts written in languages that never existed and artwork depicting images from mortal's nightmares. The scale-winged devil believes that by studying these works he will unlock some hidden pattern hidden in all insanity. Centuries of this kind of study has made the duke's speech- and thought-patterns quite abstract and byzantine, although his infernal legions seem to have no problems understanding him.[1]
