Forum:Can't save edits

Forums: Grand Lodge > Can't save edits

I signed up to edit Mendev, and I'm pretty sure I've run into the same problem as Forum:New_Editor_trying_to_make_changes. I get the "PathfinderWiki only allows trusted users to insert links to external sites into pages" message.

I messed around on my user page and it seems to be the {{Avistan}} template under the References section that's keeping me from saving. If I remove it, I can save the page. Don't know why that would read as an external link...

Sorry for the inconvenience. I've made you a trusted user, so you should have no problem making any edits to the project. I wish this extra step weren't necessary, but we're in the process of fighting some pretty relentless spammers, and ease of use for real editors is the price we have to pay. You shouldn't notice any other restrictions from here on out, though. Thanks for helping out on the project!

Thanks! Yeah, I just wanted to mention my particular issue in case it was a bug. I totally understand the need for the restrictions.

There actually is an issue with that template (and others like it) that I can see was being interpreted as an external link. Thanks for looking into what specifically was stopping you from editing the Mendev article. I'll look into the issue behind those templates.
